No, it does not work even in Scandinavia. Did you miss the massive influx of parasitic migrants?

No matter what society, socialist policies always bring decline. Of course the decline isnt immediate so the stupid think "it works". It's usually spoiled people who think they can afford the luxury of stupid ideas like socialism so other stupid people get the impression of a correlation between "being rich" and "being socialist". But the causality isnt "become socialist -> get rich" but the other way round. It's the rich who become complacent and stupid enough to try socialism, until theyre not rich anymore.
