What they're not saying is that they've had difficulties with the site, whereby they weere continuously faced with cease and desist requests or lawsuits. Taking the entire site down avoids the extensive admin requirements for dealing with these issues. And now there are many other sites in other countries that can provide the potentially illegal content. Itemfix is a dumb name, however.

idk man idk how true that is. i'm not gonna just straight out ask 'like what?' but i also have deep doubts about that claim, espeically you do not know how to navigate the net (vpn, tor, etc.)

Liveleaked is basically the replacement. It has issues but its still up, which is better than that shit site

I am not sure what you are asking. If 'like what?' is a quesiton about the other sites, you can see those website names scroll up some of the videos linked at Saidit's:

Moderators have to make sure that there isn't the intential torture or murder of children in these videos, and you can find many more elsewhere on the net. These are subs and sites only for assholes who enjoy that sort of thing.

yeah i do not want to see disgusting things in general.

but if you watch the thread on hacker news discussing this, various things were revealed on these sites. and that i think matters.
