One of the things they are using this stuff for is “humanized mice” and other humanized lab animals. They graft fresh fetal tissue in to the mice so that they can study more human-like systems.

For instance when the Wuhan Lab created new hybridized coronavirus strains which they genetically engineered to infect the human ACE2 receptor, they tested them out on humanized mice. According to one article these were mice created by Ralph Baric, a virologist at UNC Chapel Hill, one of the labs that collaborated with the Wuhan Institute on some of they hybridization studies.

So American and chinese scientists are collaborating to pay for dead baby parts, graft them in to poor animals which help them create deadly plagues that kill millions. I fucking love science!
