Can't tell if this is satire or not, hard to say these days

I've seen a few different reports of it. At least of a youtube trial run removing the visibility of the dislikes, not removing it entirely or the comments part. Most that I've seen mention the massive ratios that Biden has been getting.

Pretty sure it's got way more to do with Disney and Lucasfilm being ratioed so hard in the backlash of Gina Carano being fired.

Can't even comment "dislike button" on the official White House YouTube.

I oppose YouTube's dislike button for the same reason SaidIt ain't got a downvote button: it's soft censorship, because you have these radical leftists who go and tell all their friends to dislike conservative videos, or they use alt accounts or robots to mass dislike it, and now no one gets recommended that video and it might as well have been removed.

Btw, it seems like YouTube ain't actually removing the dislike button, just hiding how many dislikes there are, which does nothing about the censorship problem.

Yeah, that's quite annoying — but I wouldn't exactly trust Google with my private conversations.

when you use an android to send text messages, who do you think has absolute access to your messages?

      google.

True. The NSA probably — no, definitely — has a back door on all my devices, so I always work under the assumption someone is watching me.

I work under that assumption too but damn if it doesn't make me paranoid sometimes for giving a milquetoast opinion on things that go against the narrative.

Keep the date in mind: I just visited the official Biden youtube site and 'disliked' every vid on the front page.
