That's weird. Did he commune with all of these deities in a meeting and ask their opinions on the matter? Paying homage to any entity, be it a god, demigod, or the spirit of your toilet affects no one at all unless you're actively participating in trying to change those worshipping methods for other people.

commune

If you look at the description of Roman god Janus, it suspiciously resembles the Chinese tradition of Taoism. It's complex, based on observing the natural order and fully self-sufficient. Chinese and Roman empires had formed at roughly the same time and were trading with each other.

There is no reason to believe that other pagan cults used to be less complex. Worshiping an idol can't teach us ancient ways.

The arguement only makes sense if you don't believe these gods exist, which is not really how religion works.

It's likely for social skittles, forever just fucking virtue signaling. It reminds me an awful lot of Tumblr, which was amazing for laughs and some relatively neat art, despite its hideously unusable layout and generally subhuman userbase.

How many gods do you believe in? 🙂

[–]jet199 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

None, which is why I'm not involved in any religion from anywhere.

There's something to be said for respecting and understanding the cultural context of whatever deity and/or spiritual practice you adopt. That is definitely what I was taught in my own spiritual practice, most recently from a white guy who has extensive experience with vodun. However, it's one thing to suggest that people be respectful of context and not cherry-pick, it's another to gate-keep and forbid.

[–]Comatoast 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Respecting and understanding the culture is part and parcel of understanding any entity of worship. If you find good sources, the mythologies within will usually have some kind of information about how the culture once was. Cultures change over time though, so you would almost need to look at human anthropology within the area for that time period of heavier/peak worship. Different gods will have stronger staying powers than others too.

That guy is just a butthole though, he's just kissing ass when the cultures he's trying to protect/gatekeep/be a bastard about would probably rather see him piked.

It feels like American democrats are trying to erase the leftovers of ancient American cultures. They claim to wish the opposite, but their actions.

There's a One World Religion agenda.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=pope+signs+one+world+religion+agreement&t=brave&ia=web

Some seriously crazy stuff is happening in the Catholic Church.

The pope says he'd baptize aliens.

That's not the crazy part.

This Video Will Shock All Catholics! The Pope Is Fulfilling End Times Prophecy (2021)

There a scene that looks like the pope is "putting demons" in some guy.
I'm all about calling out HOAX videos, but there are signals in this video that cannot be explained easily away.

There would be a Catholic reformation over night if this video went mainstream.

People want no part of the occult inversion.

Some seriously crazy stuff is happening in the Catholic Church.

Always has been. As a major power center, their organization attracts lots of crazies.

The pope says he'd baptize aliens.

What's wrong with baptizing aliens?

There a scene that looks like the pope is "putting demons" in some guy.

Reminds me of contactless combat. Their techniques are cool, but only work on their followers.

There would be a Catholic reformation over night if this video went mainstream.

No. Some confusion, but no reformation.

People want no part of the occult inversion.

How so? Hary Poter is a very popular series, people surely love magic.

Clearly, you didn't watch the video.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Your video shows some unconnected weirdness and explains nothing.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

The story literally tells itself.

He simply shows the audience actual scenes and articles.

People can review the evidence and come to their own informed conclusions/opinions.

It's damning.
Literally damning evidence.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

The pope got punched in the eye, once. He isn't the only one to experience this. Some people say "aliens". Religious ecstasy makes faces go weird. People who dedicate their life to a religious organization are unusual. Thus the pope is the devil?

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I don't know with any certainty what happened in any of those scenes.

Basically, the polar opposite of what people believe the church would ever consider plausible. Ever.
The black pope, serpentine churches, a hideously hellish altar.
An acapella Luciferian Easter hymn...
Wat?

If this was an episode of 60 Minutes then People would lose their shit.

Normie programming. So they can comprehend. :-/

He's got kind of a problem because the Norse gods definitely don't want him.

Edit: on second thought he might be Jewish. But he's still got a problem because JHVH doesn't want him either.

Fuck this faggy twink.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

Expect a litany of ill-conceived bullshit, whenever you see that oversized sombrero wearing that neckbeard.

The MEMEOLOGY channel is a disinfo operation.

[–]Comatoast 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

There was an entire platform full of people like that (the irritating twink, not the sombrero-beard). It's not disinfo if it's observed easily.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

It's not disinfo if it's observed easily.

Really?

It's more likely you don't understand how Propaganda actually works.
It doesn't work if it doesn't sound truthy.

Truthy observation is the norm for the brainwashed.

[–]Comatoast 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Ok, it doesn't work well as disinfo if it's seen through easily**, but I forget that we're talking about masses of idiots watching it.

Edit: the content itself. I don't know shit about the content producer that (re?)posted it, so I can't form an opinion on that

Sigh...everything is enemy action with you. So, what's their angle? They skewer SJWs and hypocrites all the time, and it's grand entertainment.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Sigh...everything is enemy action with you.

The disinterested boredom rebuttal?

They skewer SJWs and hypocrites all the time, and it's grand entertainment.

It's Propaganda.

It's the divide aspect of divide and conquer.

Which is consistent with your shilling activities.

More tripe from chipshit.

[–]Chipit[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Dude. The left is dividing, and we're fighting back. Who came up with identity politics? It's an easily skewerable philosophy and pointing out where it contradicts itself is important work.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Dude. The left is dividing, and we're fighting back.

You aren't fighting back.
You're making it worse.

[–]Chipit[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

So...lay down quietly and don't make a fuss? Jesus that's how we got here.

[–]Comatoast 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You can't work with people that don't share at bare minimum some kind of ideology, especially when they're headstrong about immediately attacking your character for any difference in opinion you might have. People have a tendency to fight dirty, especially nowadays when they have to create a feeling of purpose and get so tied into that, that it becomes another part of their identity.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah, except this isn't the original show.

This actual "Memeology" show brand was hijacked by some YouTuber clicke.

This Mexican sombrero guy appeared as an appointee employee, and he's all about nonsense bullshit.
He's not an original content creator. He's crap.

It's TV grade programming.
