Yes, a dumbass staff member (who lists classes online, not a professor) goofed when he/she did not explain that this statement does not exclude other people:

This class is for people who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other people of color.

https://web.archive.org/web/20201202163126/https://scl.cornell.edu/coe/pe-courses/spring-pe-courses/rock-climbing/BIPOC-rock-climbing

And soom fixed it to say:

This class is designed to enable Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other people of color underrepresented in the sport of rock climbing to learn the sport and to feel included and supported. The class is open to all Cornell students interested in learning rock climbing with this special focus.

https://scl.cornell.edu/coe/pe-courses/spring-pe-courses/rock-climbing/BIPOC-rock-climbing

The course could not have been "racially-segregated" per Cornell rules, and did not note that non-BIPOC people were excluded, and no one "frantically scrubs website"

That's not how university administration works.

The assholes at that website allow for this freshman student to post clickbait that's easily debunked.

What happened is that an idiotic staff member failed to list the course correctly, and then corrected it.

Is there someone/something prohibiting them from rock climbing in the first place?

basically, people of color first trained us to not be racist towards them and now they pushed whites out of the game.

now, it is blacks that are racist.

No, unless one considers class differences.

One could argue that a rock climing course designed to be more inclusive to under-representated or traditionally marginalized people is itself really calling into question the conflation of racial descrimination with problems of access due to class status.
