/14. You feel calmer after hearing the president. So people are being told how to feel, nice. /21. We have national COVID-19 plan. Do you actually? Hasn't Biden himself said he ain't got a thing? /35. President Andrew Jackson is out of the Oval Office, Benjamin Franklin is in. Ah yes, it is time to forget our past and censor the living hell outta it. /40. We have a president who doesn't think military service is for "suckers" and who doesn't send his "love" to people assaulting law enforcement. Tell that to the military personnel sleeping in the garages just because. /46. We have first dogs. Why does that matter? Why in the bloody hell would some animals matter? Do they fix things? NO.

You can write a full essay on the incompetence of each and every one of these talking points. In fact, if you stay here in this thread, you will be held captive by Socks' idiocy until the heat death of the universe.

  1. Is a reference to daily lies and misinformation that were meant cause a reaction, which by contrast we no longer hear

  2. We do - and it was part of the transition website in November

  1. There's no censorship implied in the comment. Instead, remember Twittler as a kind of Andrew Jackson

  2. Veterans have suffered under the previous right-wing insults about them and legislation. Reversing this will take time.

  3. Is merely a reference to the return of a dog to the White House, which was part of the tradition of the President, one of many traditions that were stopped with Twittler (I think Bill C had a cat, however). Does it matter? Not necessarily, but it helps. Traditions of the institution of the Executive office are meant to help people feel that the President is one of them, who is in a caring marriage, has a pet, etc. etc. Do we need this? No. Does it help the President communicate voters? Yes.
