I was kind of outraged until I understood what he actually did. Apparently at the time he was even more influential on twitter than Stephen Colbert.

And then he texted thousands of people's phones, telling them they could vote by phone, which isn't true, with the intent to waste those peoples' votes.

So it kind of goes beyond an "election meme" as a lot of the headlines say. He targeted specific people with the intent to trick them in to wasting their vote.

I still don't see anything illegal here. Stephen colbert is just jealous some one else was more popular than him. Jews want information monopoly and they'll try to destroy you if you threaten them.

Lying to people about how to vote is illegal, especially if you go out of your way to personally target individuals phones that you disagree with. Just like impersonating a cop is illegal.

I don't see how telling lies to people is illegal, CNN does it daily.
