    Americans say

and 74 million don't think skin color should matter.

That's what they say when put on the spot, but what do they say in their heart of hearts? Probably a third of all blacks would like to see all whites exterminated tomorrow, another third would just like to see them driven into poverty, and large proportion of the rest are secure in government and good private jobs and are too busy consuming to care one way or the other.

This isn't South Africa we're talking about here. You take someone with dark skin, give them a big paycheck, big house, and more than half of them would side with their lighter toned counterparts next door over some gang member thug they've never met.

The problem starts when it is the thug they've met. Until that relationship results in them losing it all, the average person (of any ethnicity), will choose the friend they've gone to war with over the normal person in normal society who will never understand. The horrible part starts when they lose it all and realize they're stuck at square one. Default to old habits to survive. Never leave the area for one excuse or another.

Unless you're willing to completely uproot yourself from all the friends you used to know you won't be able to stay in the normal world. I'm not blaming poor people for staying poor. I'm saying that humans naturally value familiarity more than they should. Not a bad thing in itself. It just comes with some extreme problems. If someone is offered a very high paying job with the caveat it's on the other side of the world the vast majority of people will rank it lower than their current crappy job for a variety of less than logical reasons.

another third would just like to see them driven into poverty,

Some are angry we don't empathize with them more. I can understand that. It's easy to look at something from the outside with the obvious solution and wonder why nobody wants it. The next assumption is to assume they must enjoy their current situation, because obviously they're making very little effort to walk away from it. The ones that believe they can force understanding by forcing their suffering onto others? Yes, I do believe those people are delusional and dangerous, but I doubt that number is as high as the media makes it out to be. Whatever crap the tv says, reduce that threat by a factor of 1000.

The fact that variations of "Black Culture" romanticize gang violence and drugs doesn't help matters. It creates peer pressure where in order to fit in you have to accept all that stuff as "Normal." And if you speak out against the insanity then you're trying to erase black culture. I've seen part of it with my own eyes. Black girl got adopted by a white family. People shit talked about "hows she's acting white." Like, somehow, being raised in a middle-class family away from gang violence and drugs, meant she wasn't acting "like a real black." Hell, fuckin' Joe Biden, president of the states, used the same bullshit. "If you don't vote for me than you're not black." The media and politicians have to keep us separate by threatening us with pointless titles. We'd be too hard to control if they didn't.

are too busy consuming to care one way or the other.

Fed sheep are happy sheep. Don't want to risk hurting the hand that feeds them.

Yep. It's cultural. The only reason skin color comes into play is because people tend to procreate with others within their ethnicity and culture, creating more of the same skin color and then raising them in the same culture.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Which is only natural. I'm attracted to my own type, as are most people. Interracial relationships are actually quite rare but they get an inordinate amount of attention. It's definitely cultural, as you say, but color dictates culture for the most part, culture and behavior. there is little difference between the behavior of whites in the US or SA or Australia, and little difference between the behavior of the blacks in those nations as well. The simple fact most people fail to grasp is that black culture is Tribal, whereas white culture is Communal.

    [–]Zapped 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Can you explain the difference between tribunal and communal to me?

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Communal peoples get their identity from building large towns or cities, the Chinese, the Mayan's the European's, the Russians, etc. Tribal peoples get their identity from small tribes of 30 or 50 or a couple of hundred. native Americans are tribal, look at how they live even now on the reservations. Blacks of all creeds are tribal, in SA today they are functioning on a communal level but that has been externally forced on them by hundreds of years of white oppression, they will naturally turn back to tribal relationships in time no doubt. This is why blacks in america have such trouble integrating into white communal culture, something in their primitive cerebrum keeps telling them to pick up a spear and kill that tribe up the block.

    sadly true

Unless you're willing to completely uproot yourself from all the friends I did exactly that, lots of people do for lots of reasons, usually work or love though. There comes a time when it makes sense too move to better locations I believe. If you were a Jew in Germany in 1935 it was obvious you should leave but many stayed. A lot of whites got out of SA before the collapse and many didn't. Most of those who didn't now live in poverty and fear. I don't think it's necessary to flee the US if you are white, but it would certainly make sense to move into a red state and a town where the population is predominantly White.

All races do that, they always band together in communities. Chinese, Italian, Black, Mexican. It's only white people who seem to think it's not a good idea. I think it's a good idea, my town is 99% white, the serious crime is non-existent, probably because there is a good sense of community, a lot of cohesion. As the white population of america gets smaller as a percentage it will only get worse for them too, because there is an active campaign to discredit whites and portray black issues as being the fault of whites.

I had a client, a great old guy, a Texan who moved here to Australia over 40 years ago. He told me many stories over the years and one was about why he moved. He was born in an era where the black people were passive for the most part and then they got full civil rights. They had to war for them basically, fight tooth and nail and they are still fighting he said. He'd fought in Korea, was no coward, but just wanted to live in a world where he didn't need to keep a 45 in his belt.

The fact that variations of "Black Culture" romanticize gang violence and drugs doesn't help matters. It creates peer pressure where in order to fit in you have to accept all that stuff as "Normal."

And it will likely get worse hey A-Speach.

    [–]AnarchySpeach 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's only white people who seem to think it's not a good idea.

So long as there's no economic incentive for or against it, then it usually is. Sadly, it's easily weaponized by throwing a dollar into one group, telling the other it was stolen, and watch as they fight each other. Media then declares who is to blame and everybody starts believing it. Politicians are more than happy to create animosity between them. There's no reason for them to ever fix the problem they caused in the first place.

Before this was a "white problem" it was a black problem. Before that it was a native american problem, and before that it was a mexican problem. Every single one of these racial problems are created by government to create money and the second it stopped doing that they switch the hate to a new ethnicity. Anything it takes to keep us fighting each other rather than them.

live in a world where he didn't need to keep a 45 in his belt.

Who knows... maybe in 30 years I'll agree with him.

The price for peace of mind is the illusion of security.

    Hi bot

    [–]madcow-5 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

This is probably the first time I'm actually convinced a user is a literal bot instead of a person. All the comments are "Americans say..." "Americans think..." and they almost never make sense in context, regardless of political view.

It's like someone trying to run a psy-op, but they don't actually speak the language.

    [–]Jesus 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

It is. He's always on here. /u/magnora7 usually deletes it but it always comes back. The goal, it seems, with this bot, is to stir up demoralization and blame Americans for everything.

    [–]madcow-5 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Seems pretty low quality. None of the comments make enough sense to really hit a nerve.

    [–]Jesus 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

They are, but a bot nonetheless.

    [–]FediNetizen 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You need a 2/3rds majority in the Senate to impeach. So if they already have 45 votes against, then I guess it is dead in the water.

    [–]Jesus 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

True. But then again, every election has been illegitimate since quasi private for-profit election corporations choose candidates.

    [–]christnmusicreleasesIndependent 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

    45 for 45.

2024 is going to be wild.

Especially with Texas entering the blue.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

yeah no surprise, you need 67 votes and repubs are mostly traitors so won't support it. But still need to do it to send a message.

    [–]jet199 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

To send a message you love wasting everyone's time and money?

God only knows I really thought Biden getting in would put an end to these vanity impeachments, but no they try to impeachment a guy not even in office.

They were using them as political theater before and now can't get out of the habit.

    [–]hetisachoice 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

If they have to impeach him, then Trump is still President.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Ahhh, Rand Paul, son of Great White Medicine Man. What are the chances he will be even half as honest in politics as his revered father?

I see Trump traffic is dying down rapidly on the front page, another week or three should see it all forgotten and relegated to the history books, People have such a short attention span when it comes to politics.

This means only one thing... House Representatives are retarded.
