Actually, another theory that I could believe is that youtube is removing downvotes from people that didn't watch the video. Plenty of conservatives would just click on the video to downvote, so I could see those getting deleted. Would still be legit, as votes from people that didn't even watch at least some of the video probably shouldn't count anyways.

But back to the bot thing,

The real question here is, what specifically led you to believe that these videos were hit by downvote bots?

I don't know hombre, maybe because lots of MAGAtards think Biden stole the election, and there are well-established bot networks that will provide fake engagement on basically every social media platform for a fee, including YouTube. And these services are often garbage, providing fake engagement that gets removed because the bots are easy to detect.

If you choose to be a defender of Youtube, then you are going to make some enemies here on Saidit.

Also, that last paragraph is hilarious. Thinking youtube probably wasn't faking engagement metrics to only make a heavily downvoted white house stream slightly less heavily downvoted means I've never had a controversial thought in my life.
