In 1984, the purpose of the two minutes of hate was to inculcate rage against the dissident. Seems like more something CNN typically does than something which can be done to CNN.

You're trying so hard to inourbutwatami this but all you're evoking is CNN's 24-7 hate propaganda against Trump. And you can't just come out and word-swap Trump for Biden because you know that would completely break credulity.

For the next four years, shitlibs will attempt to frame every criticism of Biden as "unprecedented attack on the office of the Presidency" and everyone outside of your cult who is sixteen or older will laugh at them for it.

        [–]AcceleratedWallops 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (13 children)

The network with two minutes of hate is OANN. It was on at work once, and they literally just showed a red screen with made-up stats about how many jobs immigrants have taken in the past hour while some discordant tone played in the background. It was fucking disturbing.

        [–]wristaction 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (12 children)

That American workers lose jobs to illegal immigrants?

Lemme guess, you believe that the protest at the capitol was an armed white supremacist terrorist attack and the 60k National Guardsmen at the capitol today were necessary to prevent them from returning to assassinate Democrats.

the 2016 election was rigged and the 2020 was the 'most secure election' in history, despite the fact that it would necessitate Trump strengthening the systems against himself (totally nonsensical) or that the 'deep state'/'swamp' strengthened it behind his back (which means they're up to obvious shenanigans and that Trump did not know of them or was powerless to stop them). Either of which means that these people are above the President.

          Saved!

The SWJ Dems and NeoCon GOP are two wings of the same war-hawk corporate party.

The progressive left and altright and all voluntarists/anarchists are NOT represented.

          🙄

          • The economy is not a zero-sum game;
            • You should be more worried about losing your job to automation than immigrants;
            • If your employer hires an illegal immigrant, is that the immigrant's fault, or your employer's?

Are we talking about the protest where people planted IEDs, brought molotov cocktails and zip ties, and had lists of names of targets? That one? The one where their expressed goal was to kill Nancy Pelosi?

          [–]wristaction 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

lol! No. The one that happened in reality.

          You should be more worried about losing your job to automation than immigrants;

Ought to be worried about both. One exascerbates the other.

If your employer hires an illegal immigrant, is that the immigrant's fault, or your employer's?

Another false dillemma. You should read more.

          [–]AcceleratedWallops 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Oh, the one where we're ignoring what actually happened. Gotcha.

Ought to be worried about both. One exascerbates the other.

...the immigrants are building robots now?

Another false dillemma. You should read more.

I don't think so. On the one hand we have some poor people just looking for a better life, on the other we have some greedy fucks taking advantage of them. If you are worried about illegal immigration, then you should support harsher penalties for knowingly employing them and an easier path to citizenship, which would make it significantly harder for them to be taken advantage of.

And I read plenty, but thanks. But it sounds like you should stop watching OANN and take your own advice.

          [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

BLM will be the dog that didn't bark for the next few years. Summit or Revolver or some outlet like that should put a couple of guys on monitoring local NAACP press releases for "unarmed black male shot by police stories" so we can quantify all the riots antifa-BLM don't organize.

At the apex of the pyramid comes Big Brother. Big Brother is infallible and all-powerful. Every success, every achievement, every victory, every scientific discovery, all knowledge, all wisdom, all happiness, all virtue, are held to issue directly from his leadership and inspiration.

          or

Then the time has come for you to take the last step. You must love Big Brother. It is not enough to obey him: you must love him.

or really any part which talks about Big Brother.

Let me know when people start plastering their houses with Biden flags like they did for Trump, and then we can discuss if this artsy lights display at a ceremony worked.

Some boob tube dude spewing superlatives with Burning Man-esque illuminations are contemporary Big Brother-worshiping propaganda and psypops to foster the dogmatic cult of patriotism if I ever saw it - regardless what president they grovel before. Recognize it or don't. Obviously many do.

            [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (14 children)

There is absolutely nothing Orwellian about this person's description. The whole point of the lights, the many flags in honor of COVID19 victims, and other aspects of approaches to the Capital at the moment is to indicate a transition to a non-fascist government that will be for the 99%, instead of the shitshow raping of the country by the 1% this past 4 years. Interpreting this basic commentary on the lights in the capitol as anything but an appreciation of the lights is remarkably desperate, as if the OP longs for the "trickle down" gonorrhea of the past 4 years. Fuck that.

            [–]AcceleratedWallops 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

If you believe any of the bullshit that you just wrote, then you are an leftist NPC. Biden isn't gonna do jack shit for the 99%. You are a gullible clown who is fooled by symbolic acts like 'honoring the victims of the coronavirus.' As if that actually means anything. You are a classical leftist NPC who values style over substance.

You will happily spend the next four years getting shafted up the ass by Biden (a rich, old, white man like Trump) simply because he is a Democrat rather than a Republican. People like YOU are what is wrong with the system. People like you will trade away all their Constitutional rights for symbolic, meaningless acts like 'gender and racial equality.'

Biden is ever more committed to serving the 1% than Trump is. You are going to be in for a very rough awakening the next four years. Unless, that is, you continue to willfully deceive yourself with leftist doublethink.

            [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

The typical - all politicians are bad - argument. Rather than whine, think of solutions. We work with what we have. Biden's team has to work with a system that has traditionally given everything to the 1% at the expense of the 99%. They're already doing better than Trump's corrupt team associates. It doesn't help to oversymplify complex systems like the US government. Reversing the abuses of the 1% will only happen in small steps, if it happens at all. Don't worry about who I am. Consider solutions.

The typical - all politicians are bad - argument.

An argument that is self evidently true.

Rather than whine, think of solutions.

You can't devise a solution until you have already defined what the problem is.

Biden's team has to work with a system that has traditionally given everything to the 1% at the expense of the 99%.

And what makes you think they have ANY desire to buck that trend?

They're already doing better than Trump's corrupt team associates.

            Citation needed.

Reversing the abuses of the 1% will only happen in small steps, if it happens at all.

That isn't going to happen under Biden. Don't get your hopes up.

            There is one question.

A: because Biden's team have already developed substantial improvements

            [–]TheJamesRocket 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

No. You were asked two questions.

I asked you why you would possibly think that Biden has any desire to buck the political trend of screwing over the 99%.

I also asked you to prove your claim that Biden is 'already going better' than Trump.

A: because Biden's team have already developed substantial improvements

            Name them.

            [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

            Are you ordering me?

The answer is the same for both questions (because Biden's team have already developed substantial improvements).

            [–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Gotta set up the scene good and proper, if you want the 'correct' response from the sheeple when the time comes. Convince the braindead that Biden can fart perfume and walk on water, so when it comes time for his fall (and the inevitable ascension of Kamala 'Deep Throat' Harris), they will be crying tears of remembrance mixed with squeals of joy at the first woman president. Typical Hollyweird tearjerker-formula, in pretty much every manipulative movie ever made. Four years of life imitating art ahead. As Wilde puts it in The Decay of Lying, “things are because we see them, and what we see, and how we see it, depends on the arts that have influenced us.” In other words, past Hollywood propagandizing, meets the coming disinformation campaign.

              hitler would be proud.

I remember when the covid scamdemic began, others were saying that things would be back to normal in a few days.. oh no, i said, this is only the beginning.. they all assured me that things would return to how they were, that the restaurants would reopen, etc.. but then i watched videos about how major cities were boarding up all businesses in their financial districts, such as san francisco..

it takes so little effort to close all of those businesses, but it takes a thousand times as much energy to re-open those businesses.

covid restrictions will soon become more relaxed, but not to the point that we were at pre-covid.

we now live under a total dictatorship, where we will be punished for expressing our opinions, we will lose our careers and we will be denied services by major and minor companies because of our opinions that we have expressed.

The world has taken a turn that has altered the hands of time.

I want to suggest that we might soon live under a "one world government", but we alread do, it is just that most people dont see it kinda like they were blinded by covid.

In the end, which will be a new beginning, islam will be the dominant relgion of the world and sharia will be our legal system.

              AllahuAkbar.
