There's a big discussion on it here somewhere (https://saidit.net/s/censorship/comments/757s/amazon_to_take_parler_offline_the_third_tech/) . The user control of downloaded and shared content is minimal, requiring huge amounts of trust and or diligence on the part of the user to avoid hosting objectionable / illegal content

The other poster seems to debate the issue well enough. The problems you describe says seen like problems that can be addressed. The thing I didn't see discussed I asked before:
