I looked, and that's why I didn't bother to continue the conversation.

They burned all kinds of stuff, and at this point we can't even be sure what was really burnt or if some things are merely claimed to have been. The initial post about 'do you know what kind of books they burned' sounded interesting and like there was a point to it. But nah.

It's a completely ineffective tactic and really stupid. The left doesn't care about being hypocritical or abiding by "free speech." The Nazis burnt books promoting the very things conservatives hate - subversive shit like transgenderism, etc. written by mostly Jewish authors. The left (and Jews/Communists) censors things they hate - anything critical of racial egalitarianism, anti-whiteness, degeneracy, or Jews. Theyre not stupid enough to think theyre being "Nazis" and they just laugh when you say dumb shit like that. Stop adopting the left's shitty values and their "anti-nazi" BS. "We're less gnatzeee than you!!" has never worked and never will

My point is that likening leftists/Jews to Nazis is an ineffective tactic because it has never worked. Nazis are the opposite of leftists and are what people think of when they see "fascist". It just muddles the actual issue

Maybe its an education thing? Facism is not nazism. It comes in many flavours, and they are all different. The ideologies pushed do not define fascism, but rather the way they are pushed does.

It's the media's portrayal and use of the nazi term to quell dissidents and their opponents but it has been used so many times against so many different ideologues that the meme is now that all people are Nazis. Nazi defined in modern terms is: everyone and everything.
