Musk has other interests right now. He sees the direction the world is going, the total destruction of the faustian spirit that the global oligarchs are intending to enact. Musk sees the destruction of his race and his ideals, and is under the impression that even successful wars against that destruction merely delay the inevitable.
Several hundred years ago, europeans found an 'out' in the new world. European men and women of strong faustian bloodlines flooded the new continent and gave birth to the greatest civilization in modern history. A great civilization that was destined to one day be subverted and conquered by the enemies of those very people. The faustian spirit is, even among most europeans, an aberration. Too many content to sit in their pods and be rendered nothing more than soulless consumers. No spirit, no brilliant glint in the eye seeking eternity. A concentration of faustian bloodlines, as happened in the United States was unprecedented in human history.

Musk knows this, he knows that without a frontier that we are doomed to eventual conquest by the bugmen and by jewish oligarchs. He knows that as long as we share borders with the corrupt we will be corrupted one day.

Why do you think he looks skyward? He's not going to space for "muh science" nor is he intending to land men on mars simply to have a feather in his hat. He sees that space is the only remaining escape. One, and all it will take is one, self sufficient offworld colony of faustian bloodlines and the stars are ours. No more will judenkind be able to shove us beneath their heel with banking and slavery. The global oligarchs are just that: global. Not solar. The sun is there enemy, always have been. And should they manage to get to mars? Well, technology and a shallow gravity well will pose no impdiment to further expansion.

If we get off this planet once, we can free ourselves. If we fail? Well, let's assume we cannot fail. Musk is brilliant, and I suspect he's already figured all of this out. He's creating the escape hatch our people so desperately need. The global oligarchs don't see it because they can't understand the spirit of our people, they never have, and they never will.
