Most of you are going to hate this, but, IMO we should have the post office buy Facebook etc. and run it the same way they do the mails. The constitution constrains the government to protect free speech. Not so any private corporation.

Free speech is essential to the well-functioning of our democratic republic. Therefore it falls properly to the government sphere to sustain protected space for the First Amendment in the public life of the nation, along with building highways for commerce, and managing standard weights and measures, the patent office, etc.
