I locked down once. Did another short stint at level 2. Wore the damn mask when it was needed.

What was the next step?

I Have been living a normal life. For all but less than two months of the year. Living like there is no covid... because that's been very nearly the case here.

It's you who have been ineffective.

To be successful, the vast majority of people need to lock down. The government of course said when and how.

The same reason some people drive under the speed limit and don't rob and rape people, yes.

Although more to the point, most people did it for the positive health outcome - I know I need to remind you here that we lived our lives like there is no covid for more than ten months of 2020 - but it was mandated because we all know that some people will be self-centered pricks who are willing to fuck it up for everyone else.

Premise is that lockdowns are ineffective against corona and lockdowns creates all kinds of ills.
