And what do those companies do which cause them to create that much emissions?

That's right, they make shit you want to buy.

If you didn't want to but it, they would be making something else, maybe something less polluting.

That's right! GM makes an SUV but if you don't buy it then it cant burn oil. If everyone stops buying then GM is gone! I buy cars, love them, and they are fucking the planet, but I'm not so delusional as to believe it's anyone's responsibility but my own. When the pass the laws and ban them, which they will one day because the oil will run out eventually, I'll buy a jerk-off electric one which has all the pollution baked into it's manufacture.

I'm just a mouse in this mouse plague and I'm not gonna starve. Not all the mice die when the plague ends, some get away to feed another day.

And also.rememner that some.of those things are things you actually need to live.

Get rid of heat, get rid of transportation, get rid of fertilizer, you'd dramatically drop.our GHG emissions, and you'd commit genocide. Oops.

They knew climate change from the 1970s or even earlier. Now Greta and her minions are angry as if it was realized yesterday.

As usual they forget to tell us that the Sun is driving the climate change.

That is why we have cold periods and warm periods in synchrony with the solar cycles.
It is mainly via Solar Particle Forcing, which is related to the variations in the solar wind. Then there is also the variations in high-energy frequencies of the sun.

The astronomers are often very stupid and think that the sun is constant and that the solar wind has no influence. Based on this stupidity, the climate alarmists have assumed that instead of the sun, humans were driving the solar cycles. We see similar cycles on other planets too.
