Argentina is having a blast with their taxation of the ultra-rich. Paraguay and Uruguay are enjoying the extra wealthy people.

Consider the century+ of US influence in these countries that has led to such drastic measures.

So, you don't know English, history, geopolitics, as well as manners?

Yeah im not a refined bureaucrat that loves big government. I save my manners for those that deserve it.

What does that have to do with one's potential knowledge of history and geopolitics?

I would also question the supposed 'refinement' of a 'theocrat', which should die in a fire.

Moreover, theocrats normally like the smallest government possible, and campaign for politicians who want to destroy government supported agencies (eg. Planned Parenthood, healthcare &c)

“Trickle down” economics started as a joke - one that 99% of us don’t get

See Hannah Arendt's 'Human Condition' and 'On Revolution' for a relatively 'conservative' approach to the French Revolution and Marx's late-stage capitalism, wherein she discusses the potential for revolution as the 1% get richer and the 99% suffer.

I wonder (((who))) coined that term?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It was used especially during the Reagan years, and continued thereafter. Any graph you see of share of GDP in the US will show a rapid rise of 1% wealth by contrast with stagnant 99% wealth. Thus it really meant: trickle up.

yep, the devils greatest weapon may be deception. many laws are written to sound justifiable. like the "patriot' act. when has the tsa ever stopped anything from happening? just more bullshit to feed the npc's out there.
