I think this one falls on the heads of Gen Y, they're our newest crop of legal adults now.

You are right, with this specific term. However, as someone who is right on the brink of both generations, I can easily say that I have seen younger millennials set trends and standards (or follow trends from Hollywood or England) and then their younger siblings from Gen Y would take the trends and run them into the ground. So, I do think both generations deserve the clout millennials get. It's just that the clout should be thrown more on this fresh generation. Honestly, I was angry with my classmates at every school I went to (public, private, and homeschool co-op) They were all just happy conformists.
