Many of us do want to forget Trump was President though. I voted for him in 2016. Like every other politician I have ever voted for, he didn't do what he promised. He didn't drain the swamp. He didn't end our decades long wars. He didn't give the American people healthcare.

Mostly he golfed. He is likened to Nixon sometimes but Nixon did great things. He's more like Taft, a fat buffoon who had to be rescued from his own bathtub.

The fake Russia allegations do deserve attention though, Trump may be a loser and a shitty President but that doesn't make that right.

The guy didn't do anything except tweet "Law & Order" while sending billions of dollars to Israel. His MAGA rallies were just an outlet for him to ramble incoherently about the latest gossip in Washington.

people were just desperate for any kind of hope and trump gave people hope. Obama only won because repubs put up terrible candidates in mitt and mccain, who had palin. Trump only won cuz dems had a terrible candidate in hillary. This year biden was terrible but Trump had just spent 4 years selling out. Even with all that we had a big turnout of eligible voters. People are just desperate and hope politicians can save them. Probably stupid to hope for right? But people are really suffering, in real life, it's depressing to tell them there is just no hope.
