For the past four years we have been told that the 2016 US election results were illegitimate due to Russian interference. But as of today, questioning election results is against TOS.

You don't get it. They bitched and bitched about Russia. They were wrong. Trump pointed out irregularities and they were ignored deliberately. They tried to undermine the legitimacy of both GW Bush and Donald Trump, so we the people are under no obligation to accept the results of this obvious fraud.

Seems like a CYA move to me.

  • Armed Trump supporters have been intimidating polling places;

  • Republicans have been talking about trying to make web platforms accountable for the content that their users post;

  • Ergo, if that does happen in the future, Twitter doesn't want to be seen as inciting violence by allowing this to proliferate.

Massive citation needed on that first point, bud. There have been isolated accounts of people at polling stations bearing arms. This does not systemic intimidation make. In fact, NPR was reporting on election day that despite fears, they were NOT seeing any evidence of voter intimidation or violent conflict nationwide.

But they're on Biden's team...they have no reason to lie about it. In fact, they would seize on the slightest instance of voter intimidation by Trump voters and exaggerate it if it were happening - which it is not.

    It seems fairly clear that there was zero chance that the President would get a second term- no matter how people voted. For the entirety of his presidency, the left has doggedly worked to destroy it- even if doing so meant destroying the country. In fact, destroying the country itself is likely an objective. The left has apparently won progress in its war against us.
