Attention /u/Chipit and anyone who doesn't realize that NOT all of the left is insane nor bad:

Styx knows that the old-progressive-left is distinctly separate from the insane SJW BLM Democrat and faux-progressive corporatocracy Left and states it clearly:

When you tolerate violence, you're complicit in violence. Biden has not disavowed. When you got a table with a fascist and 10 people sitting down talking to zimselves, you got a table with 11 fascists.

Shutting down free speech with violence is not fighting fascism. It IS fascism!

And despite me telling you repeatedly you willfully won't realize that most of the old-left I know of don't support Biden - because you can't seem to fathom that there are two lefts - the corporate Dems and the authentic progressives.

Biden is unquestionably scum. Much of the old left will NEVER support him.

I'd consider Biden not only a proto-fascist but also a neo-communist. I don't know what the new fusion totalitarian term is other than corporate Democrat, even worse than NeoCons because they are simply lying NeoCons pretending to be progressive while anything but authentic, sadly fooling too many who are ill informed. And as you said, their censorship is abominable.

It is the "authentic progressives" in Big Tech who are pro-censorship. The old guard are libertarians who believe in free speech.

Heck, even at the New York Times the old guard of civic nationalist liberals have been forced out in a coup in favor of pro-censorship authentic progressives (i.e. far left).

This old left you're talking about is largely vanished today. You sure it's not just you? Even Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary and Biden, and handed over your donations to the DNC. Now he's talking about a position in the Harris administration.

The old-left AND libertarians, as equivalent on the right, are those who fight against the corporatocracy. Learn about the /s/PoliticalCompassMemes and realize that everything below the middle is against the corporatocracy - left AND right.

The New York Times is as corporate as you can get and NOT old-left in any way, just as they aren't libertarian.

As a Canadian I can't vote there and don't donate, and certainly wouldn't give to the DNC if I could. I'd give to the Green Party, Libertarian Party, Pirate Party, and/or Flux Party if I was forced to donate.

I wouldn't wish COVID, if a real thing, on anyone, but if I did, Bernie would be among those that deserve it.
