Yep, we can blame the entire GOP. They are corrupt to the core and need to be replaced with a new conservative party that actually has values besides a willingness to be bribed.
But I do think "Trump Era" is an apt description regardless.

Certainly. It's really a question of magnitude at this point. If there were such a thing as a "corruption score", I'd estimate the Dems would be a 60 and the GOP around 170, where any value above 100 is an active threat to democracy.
