What is "boogaloo boys"?

I was under the impression it was Big Igloo, a gun rights group. The idea from what I understand is that they wanted to include people of all walks of life into the gun rights groups. IE, non racist, no sexist gun rights group for all. Now they have been branded racist right wing extremest by the mainstream media.

Which came first though? It seems like "big igloo" is just code for "boogaloo".

Basically I'd like to hear different sides on this. Or is the mainstream reporting accurate?

Almost by definition, I don't think the mainstream can understand internet memes. Hence I don't think they can report on things like this accurately.
