How many times has Trump been compared to Nixon, now? It doesn't become true just because you repeat it.

If you read carefully, it isnt comparing Trump to Nixon, it's comparing the leaker to Nixon.

The left has decided the abhorrent playbook of the right was only wrong because it was being used against the wrong people. It's disgusting, all just people should oppose this.

Oh I didn't catch that. That makes more sense.

Trump wishes he was Nixon. I'm not a fan of HUAC, watergate, or his racism, but Nixon was a genius. We haven't had that caliber of president in a long time.

I'm surprised you're defending Nixon.

He was a genius and accomplished a lot as President. He stopped the Vietnam war, opened China to trade, oversaw détente with the Soviet Union and China, presided over the moon landing, began the war on cancer, and started the EPA.

Not that everything he did was appropriate or entirely legal, but in retrospect, modern Presidents have done worse. HUAC in particular always bugged me, but there is cause to think communist sympathizers had indeed infiltrated the US.

Nixon was the last great Republican. Even Clinton regularly sought his advice.

Then I'm converted. Call me a Nixon fan.
