Awful headline: "You Literally Can't Believe The Facts Tucker Carlson Tells You" The ruling wasn't about Carlson listing off facts, the rhetoric was his opinion which is essentially what the court ruled.

I agree that I improved on the article's original headline. However...

Carlson first told viewers, "Remember the facts of the story. These are undisputed."

He then proceeded to say, "Two women approach Donald Trump and threaten to ruin his career and humiliate his family if he doesn't give them money. Now that sounds like a classic case of extortion."

In reality, McDougal never approached Trump.

What the judge said:

"Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes."

In other words, Tucker Carlson is lies like a goddamn rug, and anyone with a lick of sense knows it.
