They geared up for a pandemic at the level of 1918, and now they cannot admit they were wrong, that this bug never even came close to that level. That's the benign explanation.

The more sinister is that this has never had anything to do with Covid in the first place. They needed an excuse to shut things down because the system was getting out of their control, and Covid was their manufactured excuse to clamp down and take control back. BLM are their shock troops for this purpose.

They're in trouble now, though, because it's becoming increasingly clear, even to those who don't pay close attention, that there's no "there" there, and there never was.

They'll manufacture another distraction soon enough to distract people from the complete lie this whole episode has been.

With each distraction, however, the lifespan over which it works is decreasing. The majority of people figured out that 9/11 was false about 10 years after the fact. In the case of 2008 and 2020, people are almost (but not quite) aware in real time of the fraud.

This is how the Soviet Union died as well. Eventually no one will believe the lie as it is being told. At that point, it's over.
