How exactly did he initiate the unrest?

You are really thick headed. Trump didn't force them to riot, but what has he done to help stop it?

I don't see many options available to him.

He can't send the military uninvited.

The Democrats are pushing to defund the police.

It certainly looks like the Democrats want him to win.

One world think the Democrat leadership would be eager to criticize all of the looting, arson, separatist movements, and any excuses for federal marital law.

Instead, they have doubled down on the unrest.

Well I have to assume all those that want to defund the police will vote Biden. Then probably get dismayed when he acts like Obama as prez, a conservadem. Especially with conservative Harris as vp. But BLM said that. Like this thread is about tho, it hurts Biden, and is likely to cause a Trump win. Not just cuz of that foolish, shortsighted slogan. Mainly cuz of the looting.

So... cut funding to Police departments in high crime areas? Lol. Why not train them better? Bunch of rich white Liberals in my area supporting defund the police. Meanwhile, they live in a crime free town. But I'm glad poor people get to have no police.

It's not an issue of training, the unfortunate reality is the kind of people who want to be police are generally the exact kind of people who shouldn't have that power.

I heard an interesting idea though, mandatory civil service. So everyone has a hand in policing their own communities. It'd sure cut down on this us vs them mentality.
