Oh fuck yeah. Better than the debate moderator from CNN that supplied the debate questions to the Democrats in advance. Hillary knew exactly what to say while Trump had to think on his feet. Fucking enemies of the people, they are.

Who is now still employed by CNN, and Fox News as well....

Biden announces he has covid to avoid debates in 3...2...1

Anyone remember a few years ago when Rogan and Peterson were talking about how this type of grassroots media would supplant mainstream media? Here we are, the POTUS calling for the media's great privilege, the chance to help kingmake the next leader of the free world, to be handed over to Joe FUCKING Rogan. God I love and am simultaneously terrified by this timeline.

A debate hosted by Rogan would be a massive improvement over the debates hosted by corporate media. At least there would be a sliver of authenticity.

I agree. I would love it. It's been years since the elites have permitted themselves to speak longform uncut in front of the masses, something I would love to change. Any derision in my post was aimed at Rogans lifestyle, which I find extremely degenerate, but I love his show and I think the format would be good for democracy.

I don't know much about the dude besides he was on NewsRadio and Fear Factor and apparently loves DMT, what does he do you consider degenerate?

Not sure about his lifestyle, but the whole "controlled opposition" part about him really sucks.

Push drugs unto kids.

Seriously? That's fucked up.

How about a scholar or someone with merit. Not a drug addicted DMT pusher who pushes drugs on kids and is a state department sell out.

I don't think this is any prescience on their part.

They were selected to play the roles they're playing.

Rogan had been friends with Alex Jones since 2000, which is an indication of the time scale that these operations are planned.

The 2030 controlled opposition we haven't yet heard of are being groomed in 2020.

This opposition isn't told what to say, or think, etc.

The reality is, they won't be selected for the role and given positive publicity if they don't already say the right things, and think there right thoughts.

But I'm curious, why do you think this has all been planned out and orchestrated? Is there really no way these leaders of alternative media could have met organically? Particularly considering the nature of Rogan's show, which involves seeking out interesting people?

[–]HegeMoney 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

why do you think this has all been planned out and orchestrated?

Because those at the top of the power pyramid would like to manage and control the way human society/culture progresses.

Is there really no way these leaders of alternative media could have met organically?

It's possible, but it faces strong opposition.

The current media system routinely suppresses actual organic growth, or infiltrates it and co-opts it if it cannot suppress it.

That's why Q infiltration is showing up at lockdown protests.

That's why Jones was involved in 9/11 truth.

They will work to divide the resistance movements.

Biden participating in a four hour debate? That's cruel and unusual... it's the equivalent of expecting a garden slug to successfully solve 200 quadratic equations.

This would be amazing, though I agree with Kulinski's analysis that the Biden team will probably say no.

He’s been going on for years about how much he hates the way everything is just used for shitty sound bites in political debates, plus he’s open to anything he thinks will be an interesting discussion. I’m not even wedded to it being Joe, I just love the idea of actually having a proper discussion before it’s decided who will basically run the free world.

It’s a shame they won’t let Biden do it, he’s falling apart but I’d enjoy the shit show of him trying to be coherent, or his puppet masters pulling his weekend and Burnies strings.

Sure I agree with your points. But do none of you think this format would be terrible for trump too? Rogan is a great interviewer and trump is his best when talking "at" people and he doesn't handle being challenged very well. I could see Trump walking out if Rogan presses him to flesh out his ideas. Which would of course further divide the left and right. What he would consider a win?

Trump doesn't really benefit from articulating his agenda over a long form discussion, he would be much better suited by continuing his current playbook and playing to the "outrage" culture by showing that he infact came up with the idea in the first place, then turn the tables and cry about how "thought he was a good guy" Joe and the evil Dems don't play fair, after he gets out his talking points.

This way he doesn't have to actually do anything and he gets to embolden his base. He does this everytime. Seems to work so why change it

Rogan admitted he is pro Trump.

“But I don’t think that Biden can handle it. I think Biden is like, I think he’s, I mean people get mad at me for saying this, I think there’s something wrong and I don’t think there’s something wrong, because I’m guessing, or because I’m pro-Trump.

4 hours seems overlong... I understand there's a lot to discuss but a lean and mean (all killer, no filler) 90-120 minutes would be better imho. But Biden wouldn't even last that long so it's really a moot point. This is the type of discussion that should hold your attention for the full duration and not something you only half listen to in segments during your commute. With Biden involved, most people will be listening for the lulz anyway...

While a debate moderated by him would be more fun, it also highlights how this is all just entertainment. I still like some of his guests and podcasts, but he is undoubtedly controlled opposition IMO.

I think that with hoaxes and controlled opposition that folks deem on "their" side, they don't look too closely. They want it to be real. Want those people to be real. Thats still dangerous; maybe even moreso.

Yeah, Joe would be entertaining/more engaging than traditional moderators. Maybe, this would be a good distraction so that people don't look at real issues with debates, like how they changed the measurements last election to exclude libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson, who was the only candidate speaking sensibly. Couldn't have that in a debate. They switched from registered voters to likley voters (or vice versa) midway so that they couldnt meet the minumum required %.

You guys keep focused on the moderators instead of who controls the debates, though..
