Snopes hasn't been reliable source in over a decade.

Take this exert for example:

"According to cellphone footage, a group of people followed Rittenhouse, yelling “Beat him up!” and “Hey, he shot him!” The teenager continued running, tripped, and then fell to the ground — from where he fired four shots.

Per the complaint, several people rushed toward the teen and hit him or tried to disarm him while he was lying on the ground. Among that group was Rittenhouse’s second victim, Huber, who had apparently hit Rittenhouse with a skateboard during the scuffle. Then, the complaint stated:"

This makes it appear as though the shooting took place before the alleged 'disarming'. And by disarming they apparently mean, multiple attempt to strike him in the head with a skate board. Or to frame it in a legal context, use of deadly force. Not that this matters since any attempt to take a weapon away from someone can be met with deadly force, since the victim can rightly assume that his own gun will be turned on him.

In addition, the term shooting victim should be used, and not "Rittenhouse’s victim" As this implies guilt. Not that snopes cares, or at least they don't seem to care about facts.

I encourage everyone to watch the video of the instance and to judge it for themselves. And in case you are worried that you are going to see something you can not unsee. It is not very graphic, you will be able to understand the events, fairly easily without being overtly disturbed.

Is a skateboard used in that manner considered a lethal weapon legally?

Skateboard guy also grabbed his gun. Legally this makes him an armed attacker.
