They're not oblivious, they know what they're doing. My niece just got pissed because she was telling the family how we're all racists cause we're white and everyone obviously thought that was ridiculous. Today was her first day of school, I wonder where she got that nonsense from 🤔.

Although I'm not a fan of cops, and our justice system is so fucked a criminal record doesn't necessarily mean someone is an actual criminal. I've had BS charges and it just makes more sense to plea and pay a fine then spend years and tens of thousands of dollars fighting against a system where the average juror assumes you wouldn't be there unless you were guilty.

Court is not what you'd expect from watching Law n Order. I mean, I figured it wouldn't be exactly the same, but it's totally different. Nobody cares if you're guilty or innocent, the prosecutor's job is to convict you.

Post-secondary is obviously bad but social media is where these kids are indoctrinated nowadays. Way before college. I only point this out because even your basic-bitch conservative like Ben Shapiro will agree universities are in need of reform but more people need to get on board with the fact that social media & tech companies need to be reigned in.

This is something I actually agree with in terms of "reforming the system". It's astonishing how many charges end with a plea bargain. It's just unfortunate that this topic will never be brought up in a useful manner since the entire topic of police/justice reform is stepped in racial identitarianism. It is really quite a shame.

Nobody cares if you're guilty or innocent, the prosecutor's job is to convict you.

The elephant in the room is that focus on reform should be prosecutors far more than police. As recent examples have shown, prosecutors have immense power with almost no accountability. Judges can't question charging decisions and good luck suing a prosecutor for even blatant misconduct. But it is the prosecutors that fail to hold police accountable, and allow the abusive cops to stay on the streets. Electing reform prosecutors tends to result in people like Kim Foxx abusing their power in the other direction. Weakening the immunity of prosecutors is how you get real change and solutions, but you won't hear anything about that in most of these protests.
