Trump committed political suicide on his own by trying to downplay the virus and prioritize the economy. Right wingers just like to make everything the Dems' fault.

So many dems are on record calling him racist for closing down travel, and encouraging people to gather in crowds in places like Chinatown to resist him. Pelosi, Schumer, Cuomo, DeBlasio, and the list goes on and on. You're being willfully ignorant of the facts in order to defend your party of preference.

as for the response to corona, I would want a prez to do one of two things.

  1. close down the economy if it is so bad but also bail out americans with stimulus checks if you are going to destroy the economy

or

  1. keep the economy open if corona is not really that bad, but don't allow governors to shut down economies, you're going to get blamed for bad economy then right or wrong, put out an executive order demanding they open it back up.
