One person stood up for the victim.

Now banned from twitter.

It's so annoying how desperate these people are for there to be no context for these people's actions. The whole reason people bring up prior criminal behavior is to point to the fact that a 45 second clip posted on Twitter maybe doesn't tell the whole story about the shooting.

I can't believe these people are trying to pretend that most of these shootings involving people with lengthy criminal records doesn't mean anything. They're willfully trying to convince people not to notice patterns and it's mind boggling.

Do they check criminal records before arriving to the scene? How would they even find who exactly the caller is complaining about, i doubt they are being asked the full name. So natural conclusion is they cannot know whether the guy has criminal record. So criminal record is irrelevant.

The radio scanner of the police dispatch in this case has been released online if you want to look for it. It can be hard to hear and parse the number codes going back and forth, but the call that came in did include Blake's full name and the dispatcher was able to look up his criminal record including getting violent with police and violent arms offenses.

WRT your comment below about when the police camera footage is released; remember that the footage in the Floyd case weren't released for several months and only then by someone leaking it. There may be corrupt manipulation of when the footage gets released either for or against the police. In this case, there is no body cam footage as the department can't afford the cameras.

No it's relevant precisely because the police don't know but the same thing shows up in most cases regardless.

If the majority of people shot by police have a long record of violent and sexual crime it shows those men getting shot likely have a similar pattern of behaviour which has at least some small part effects their risk of experiencing police violence.

For instance most people don't have full on physical fights with armed police even if they resist arrest. It's reasonable to assume a person who is used to getting their own way with violence is more likely to do that.

Perhaps, but it's anecdotal evidence at best. But because they oversee and investigate themselves behind closed gates, it's hard to get to the bottom of this. And a lot of videos where cops escalate themselves is concerning. Plus I noticed, that if cops are in the right, we get police cam footage in few days notice. But if it was something fishy, they either lose it, or release after a year or two.

In my eyes it's easy to fix this. Just create a body that oversees the police force and conducts investigations in timely manner, and then all the findings with video evidence get released to the public.

Just create a body that oversees the police force and conducts investigations in timely manner

we'll call that: THE POLICE POLICE

Of course I agree with you on overseeing the police in general.

Do they check criminal records before arriving to the scene?

That's purposefully missing the point. If you've committed crimes before you lose almost every bit of benefit of the doubt. It's a pattern of behavior. If you rob a bank and go to jail, then once released you're found in the parking garage of a bank with a balaclava on & a weapon. You don't get the benefit of the doubt from me.

So for these cases, when a police officer says the perp did A and the perp claims B. When it comes out the next day that the guy had a criminal past you immediately lose all benefit of the doubt from me. You're a proven criminal and I'm not going to trust a word you say.

The frog is already broiled man. It's too late to stop whats coming. The opposition just sat there and laughed, while their enemies were plotting.

Honestly, if you don't live in America, it's best for you not to dw̶ell on this.

Discussion on the medias' and Leftists adulation of, shall I say way too mildly, less than stellar example(s) of human beings who were killed, or in Blakes case, injured, when they refused to comply with police.

< On August 23, 2020, Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old black man, was shot from behind seven times by a police officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Protests occurred in response, as part of the larger Black Lives Matter movement >

This doesn't appear to be true, though. Don't believe bullshit just because of your emotions. If you're not factual than you're just a faggot.

Seriously, this is the quality of news you get from your drunken racist aunt on Facebook.

The sexual assault charge was from his baby momma who he has three kids with. Sounds like there may have been some abuse there but it wasn't raping a minor.

Yeh if only that was "literally" true.
