Just joined - is this sub just for GOP astroturfing or is there a place for sane people who want to analyze each parties' position?

^ This is exactly why I joined.

I'm not 100% left/right and this site gives some great, albeit sometimes abrasive, insight on American politics from both sides and allows you to form opinions on your own.

Nothing like Reddit where you get "the truth" shoved at you from every single sub on the front page and if you have a question you get downvoted to oblivion.
