Anyone who tests positive and dies will be counted as a covid-19 death, even if they did not die from Covid.

You are correct. There are far fewer covid-19 deaths then there were Flu deaths.

So, if you die from any other illness, as many people do, even old age, and you test positive for COVID-19; remaining aymptomatic, you STILL died, by their def. of COVID.
