I wish the world's largest socialist project would die - the US military.

Socialist by involuntarily taking from the tax payers to "protect" them from "enemies" who never leave their homelands.

Meanwhile they could be socialist by involuntarily taking from the tax payers to provide healthcare like every other civilized nation on Earth and/or provide decent education that won't make you a life-long debt-slave.

Of course you "capitalist" Americans are so programmed against "socialism" that you can't even see the hypocrisy through the trees of all the other "socialist" projects you benefit and/or "benefit" from.

BINGO.

I wish the world's largest socialist project would die - the US military.

So do you actually think that without a military the US would be perfectly safe from foreign powers?

provide decent education that won't make you a life-long debt-slave.

Grants already exist for those who need them. Public colleges already exist with subsidized tuition. People who spend more money on college degrees than those degrees are worth are the only people in "life-long debt" and they do that because they are stupid. You can't fix stupidity by making those degrees free, all that will happen is that the cost is passed on to less stupid people who would otherwise spend that money more wisely and make the country better. The stupid people will simply make excuse after excuse for their failure and go in for degree after degree; learning nothing of value and wasting 10x more than they otherwise could.

There is absolutely zero evidence to show that those countries with free college gain anything of value for it, and a mountain of evidence that they have fewer start ups and less innovation.

If college is worth the money than no public funding is needed. If it is not worth the money then we should not be funding it with public money because anyone stupid enough to waste money on it should be the one who suffers the consequences of their stupidity and no one else.

" So do you actually think that without a military the US would be perfectly safe from foreign powers? "

The US military (with the CIA, NSA, Mossad, Zionists, etc etc etc) are the greatest threat to humanity and the leading instigators of violence globally. Get rid of the biggest bully and the next one will take its place but at least it won't be as big - and maybe it won't even be a bully if everyone else keeps it in check.

" Grants already exist for those who need them. "

That's a giant crock of shit and you fucking know it. If the grants existed then there wouldn't be an education debt crisis.

This isn't about your subjective judgements on how much/little "those degrees are worth" or whether "they are stupid". (Granted, there are problems there too, including all the gender studies bullshit.)

I didn't say "free" education, though it's very possible and IMO should be implemented. I said "provide decent education that won't make you a life-long debt-slave."

If you want to talk about stupid people - talk about the corporate media, the common core, video games, etc and the intentional dumbing down of the masses. People without taught skills or motivation will not spontaneously gain momentum and start being "productive" or self-reliant. Or maybe you'd like to just euthenize all the "useless eaters".

"The stupid people will simply make excuse after excuse for their failure"

You seem to be doing a better job of it than they are.

"There is absolutely zero evidence to show that those countries with free college gain anything of value for it"

Clearly you haven't bothered to look. The Scandinavian countries do better. Cuba does really well considering. I'm quite certain there are many more. But you'd actually have to research it instead of making blanket statement lies.

Why must we "be the one[s] who suffers the consequences of [your] stupidity" ? Maybe go to Voat or something where you'd be better suited.

[–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

The US military (with the CIA, NSA, Mossad, Zionists, etc etc etc) are the greatest threat to humanity

There are many examples of genocides perpetrated over and over, especially by communist dictatorships. China is currently ethnically cleansing itself of Muslims. Myanmar had an ethnic cleansing a year or two ago. These are the greatest threat to humanity and the US military is the only thing standing in their way.

I assure you grants do exist.

This isn't about your subjective judgements on how much/little "those degrees are worth"

There is nothing subjective about it. If the degree you got does not increase your earning ability more than it costs you than it is OBJECTIVELY not worth it. It easy to determine if a degree will be worth it by looking at job opportunities, and outcomes of others who have the degree. Liberal arts degrees are known to be worthless, and anyone who gets them is thus OBJECTIVELY RETARDED.

Or maybe you'd like to just euthenize all the "useless eaters".

It is absolutely not a decision between wasting hundreds of thousands to give retards worthless degrees or kill them. They should get jobs that don't require college. Yes, those do exist. Whatever job those retards with worthless degrees are doing is exactly the job they could have gotten without having wasted time and money on a libtard arts degree.

Scandinavian countries do well because they are high IQ. Cuba does not do well at all. They are the perfect example of this. Everyone has a college degree, and not one single thing of value has come out of there. No discovery, no invention, no cleaver contraptions. Why isn't Cuba producing programmers like India?

Getting a degree does not mean you are qualified to do anything. It does not mean there will be a job waiting for you when you get out. Not everyone is meant for college. Forcing everyone in is stupid and counterproductive.

Liberal arts degrees are known to be worthless, and anyone who gets them is thus OBJECTIVELY RETARDED.

Disagree here. Naive perhaps, but not retarded. Do you remember being a teenager? Were you told that you could literally be anything that you wanted, there are no limits? I know plenty of people who believed that lie when they were 18-22, myself included.

[–]Canbot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yes, I was told that. I was told to follow my dreams and not worry about money. Everyone I knew had some kind of fanciful dream about a life without labor, where you survived on your favorite hobby. And everyone I know was intelligent enough to think it through, realize they don't have any reasonable way to monetize that kind of lifestyle, and made rational decisions.

Those who don't think for themselves are what I call retarded.

[–]noice 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I'd still argue that this is naive, and I don't think I place as much judgment on the individuals making decisions because of that. I think there's some blurriness to it as well - degree courses lie on a spectrum of employability - where some degrees you might automatically categorize as retarded to obtain, there are plenty which seem reasonable but offer very few prospects.

[–]JasonCarswellVoluntaryist 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Who controls China? Zionist-allied Yale Skull & Bones supported Mao and his communist take over.

I know grants exist - but they sure as fuck don't cover much of anything in the grand scheme. PLUS, those grants only go to status quo supporters. Find me a grant that will support independent subversive content and I'll apply for my project.

Meanwhile, the first days in office Trump added 80 BILLION to the military and the MSM didn't blink an eye. That could have covered education and healthcare.

There's more to life than earning ability, objectively.

IQ has nothing to do with it and clearly you're ignorant about Cuba who produces doctors freely to share with the world, despite being cut off from modern tech and meds.

US sanctions on Cuba are a war crime. Cuba might produce programmers if there weren't sanctions keeping them down. You need to play fair to get fair results.

If you think Cuba has no innovations then you know nothing about Cuba. They have been forced to adapt and survive despite the oil and chem sanctions and have far superior farming models than the "efficient" Big-Chem-dependent US Big-Agra.

Not everyone needs to be "productive" when there is technology and plenty. That's how the arts have exploded and why we all watch mindless movies with 300+ animators.

I wasn't forcing everyone in. That's your own invention.

If the job that requires the degree is worth getting the degree for than by definition you are earning enough to pay for that degree. Why should I pay for your degree so that you can earn more money?

Stop blaming your parents for your own stupid decisions. Adults go to college, not kids. You are responsible for your own decisions. The internet exists now so you have no excuse for your own ignorance about the results of these decisions.

My source is the fact that communist countries fall into poverty after cannibalizing the fruits of the capitalist societies they destroyed. They don't produce nobel prize winners. They don't produce innovation. They don't advance science. The don't enrich their countries or people. They can't even maintain the same standard of living as has been developed before free education, let alone improve it in any way.

    [–]JasonCarswellVoluntaryist 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

" Stop blaming your parents for your own stupid decisions. ... You are responsible for your own decisions. "

If only it were that simple.

Must be nice to be so simple minded and right all the time.

    [–]Canbot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

If I'm wrong explain how I'm wrong. These childish insults aren't cleaver, and they sure as hell aren't an argument. There is nothing more pathetic than making yourself feel right with petty ad hominem attacks.

    [–]JasonCarswellVoluntaryist 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

You are correct. My childish insults aren't "cleaver". Also, I can do better than petty ad hominems. For that I apologise.

Your oversimplified blanket statements paint EVERYONE with the same brush. That is not only simple-minded but it lacks any nuance or critical thinking. It's the egalitarian thinking most rational people despise when individual fairness is required. Everyone's situation is different. Parents, family, generations, society, economics, employment, school, culture, opportunities, and fucking everything in the Universe is ever changing and different. Everyone inherits different evolving circumstances and has to make the best of what they have. Not everyone is lucky the first, second, or even third chance they get - but continue to try they must. Not only is it not just the parents (who you brought up) it's the entire world that is both to blame and to credit for all the good and bad things that happen to you. Maybe your parents were status quo supporters, or ineffective activists, or game-changers - was it enough or too much?

Yes, it's all far too nebulous the way I've outlined it. Everything and nothing is true, etc etc etc. It's better to be too open than too closed IMO, and you simplify and shut it down, mistaken all the way...

" My source is the fact that communist countries fall into poverty after cannibalizing the fruits of the capitalist societies they destroyed. "

Nonsense. Capitalism has wins because they're the most invasive with an abundance of infiltration and corruption techniques.

" They don't produce nobel prize winners. "

All awards shows are political and rigged. It doesn't take much effort to find evidence of this.

    " They don't produce innovation. "

You mean the space race was imaginary and that the West wasn't actually dependent on Russian spacecraft to get to the ISS?

    " They don't advance science. "

See above. Also, where are all the iPhones manufactured? You can't advance if you don't have manufacturing to build upon. Also, while the biolabs were shut down in the US, the funding was sent to China to set up their bioweapons labs in Wuhan among other places. Sure Coronavirus may have come from China, but it was funded by the US. Both were advancing their evil science and now both are pushing their corrupt scientism. Part of the deal.

" The don't enrich their countries or people. "

So all the skyscrapers and millionaires in Russia and China are fiction? Such and absurd blanket statement that it's profoundly idiotic.

" They can't even maintain the same standard of living as has been developed before free education, let alone improve it in any way. "

Again. Stupid, baseless without proof, and oh... very stupid.

You're a waste of time and energy because you likely won't even read this. Further you'll keep on spouting the same shit because you're not honestly here to learn, you're here to debate. I won't indulge you further. Either you're a shill or an idiot, or both.

    [–]Canbot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Your oversimplified blanket statements paint EVERYONE with the same brush.

So do yours. It is impossible to have any kind of conversation without any kind of generalization. Mine are more accurate than yours because they are true for a larger percentage of people.

That is not only simple-minded but it lacks any nuance or critical thinking.

This is wrong. You are trying to make arguments with exceptions. I acknowledge that the exceptions exist; I also recognize that they are exceptions. You don't seem to understand what that means. You seem to think that the only way to be nuanced is to act as though the exceptions are the rule.

    Everyone's situation is different.

And yet you make generalized claims about how they are victims and not responsible for the costs they incurred. The reality is, and you implicitly accept it, that generalizations can be made; and in fact need to be made to have any conversation at all. Then you want to turn around and claim that my generalization, and somehow only my generalization, must be wrong because of infinite variability of people. THIS IS NOT LOGICAL OR REASONABLE.

Maybe your parents were status quo supporters,

My parents were a hindrance not a benefit to my path in life. The leftist claim that we are the products of circumstances beyond our control is bullshit. It is 20% luck and 80% the actions and choices you make. You can claim I am wrong on that all you want, but you are the one running face first into incorrect assumptions about me because your world view is so flawed.

It is the losers of the world who always believe that their failures are not their fault. It is the winners of the world who believe the opposite. It is the winners of the world who are far more likely to be right because clearly they understand the world well enough to be the winners. It is nothing but a copping mechanism to make bullshit claims about how the winners didn't earn their victories despite not knowing a single thing about them besides the fact that they are winners.

[capitalism has] an abundance of infiltration and corruption techniques.

horse shit. There is a reason all the leftists chant "real communism hasn't been tried". The reason is they don't recognize corrupt communist regimes as "real communism". So why is it that all the socialist and communist experiments are so instantly corrupted into poverty if it is capitalism (which lasts hundreds of years with prosperity) that has all the corruption?

You can't steal wealth from the poor. Capitalism CREATES WEALTH. Even if it is by forcing people to work harder than they normally would, and even if (not saying it is true) the workers are stripped of their products; it is capitalism that got them to make those things VOLUNTARILY. Communism needs to force people to work like slaves at the end of a gun barrel because when everything you get is given to you and everything you create is taken from you NO ONE WANTS TO WORK. It is retarded to think anyone would do any work what so ever when they have everything given to them, and working does nothing but take away their time. And when no one works WEALTH IS NOT CREATED.

All awards shows are political and rigged

Oh how convenient. But true or not they don't produce the things that those awards purport to recognize. The Nobel prize comes after the discovery or innovation, and it is that discovery and innovation that does not get produced under communism.

You mean the space race was imaginary

It is widely known that most of the technology of the soviet union was stolen through espionage. Including nuclear tech and rocket tech, which was based on stolen tech from Nazi Germany. But there you go again trying to use an exception to argue against the rule. As a rule the US is far more innovative than Russia. Soviet or otherwise.

Also, where are all the iPhones manufactured? You can't advance if you don't have manufacturing to build upon.

You are contradicting yourself. The Phones are produced NOT INVENTED in china under the direction of American inventors. Yet it is China and not America that has all the factories and yet America is inventing and not China.

So all the skyscrapers and millionaires in Russia and China are fiction?

The millionaires in Russia get their wealth from natural resources, not technology. And again you are using exceptions to argue against the rule. The rule is that people in Russia and China are far poorer than in capitalist countries.

Again. Stupid, baseless without proof, and oh... very stupid.

The proof is every country that went from capitalism to socialism or communism. The common man's standard of living goes up for a short time until the money that was "socialized" by the government is spent. Then the quality of live plummets to all new lows. Every. Single. Time. What is stupid is how you can willfully overlook all the evidence and make such a statement that is literally the opposite of the truth.

You're a waste of time and energy because you likely won't even read this.

I read it all, despite how stupid and wrong it all is. And I even made the effort to correct it.

because you're not honestly here to learn, you're here to debate

    What have you learned?

It seems draconian because you think with your heart and not with your brain. Policies based on empathy are incredibly ignorant. You essentially take a special case and extrapolate that to everyone. It is ass backwards. Generalizations always have some exceptions, and thus failures; but they are correct most of the time. What you are proposing is making a generalization not based on what the vast majority is but some exception, making your generalization almost entirely wrong. Empathy is only valid on an individual basis, based on the exclusive circumstances of that individual. This is the great failure in most leftist ideologies.

It's perfectly fine to wish a homeless person good fortune, and everyone does. Some of us also are intelligent to realize that if that homeless person were to win the lotto it is more likely than not that they would overdose on drugs than get off the streets permanently. So I don't wish for them to win the lotto, not because I am mean, but because I am intelligent enough to understand the consequences and would rather they hit rock bottom and finally find the will and the wisdom to turn their life around.

Good wishes don't make you a good person.
