We really need a non political leader to come out and push this agenda. I know it is up to us in the end but you really need someone in the public eye to say "Look, these companies are doing more harm then good and if you want it to stop then you need to stop using them.".

I think you have a point, except I disagree this needs a leader. IMO it should be anonymous and grassroots. It should have some bipartisan support though. Even a group of Trump-hating liberals recently signed a letter against cancel culture.

I wasn't meaning it as some leader to take us to the promise land or anything like that, I was meaning like a leader to just put it out there so more people would start talking about it. I just don't think enough people are even considering doing it. If you had someone with a voice to the public make some sort of announcement like that it would get more people thinking about it.

Not a bad idea. If this gets big, I was hoping to send the idea to Tim Pool or someone like that. It would need a website first though.

No, I mean someone seen as non political. Maybe people that are leaders in the community that don't typically have agendas. I would have used someone like Drew Brees as an example a few weeks ago but he has caved to the mob. Terry Crews maybe? There are people that would fit that bill but I have a hard time come up with a comprehensive list.

Anyone who is not a leftist will be demonized by the entire media the moment that "non political leader" steps into the spotlight.

Terry Crews still has a platform because he is a non-white.

I think because he's so well liked as well. Other black guys have been cancelled. I think also because he was already going against the woke grain (being anti porn) and they had to accept that and still like him.

If he were white I don't see him having a platform but maybe I'm wrong.
