"Boycotting them is basically self-censorship." - a very interesting take! I never thought of it that way. Maybe dealing with privacy will just be a matter of using an alternative account and some proxies/adblockers/etc.?

This could work. Honestly, people should be using pseudonyms on the Internet wherever possible. Adblockers are always a great idea, although it's important to dismiss them on sites that you value.

Btw, I'm trying to ask everyone this, but have you considered joining the chatroom I linked above? It would be a great place to keep in contact and further discuss the boycott. If you're not interested, that's okay, I also have a sub at /s/Activism (although it will probably be slower).

If you want privacy and anonymity on the net use Tor and Protonmail. You don't have to use it all the time. It's your secret identity.
