Deaths are down, but oh - but cases!

No, really there's more BIG RED NUMBERS on CNN showing CASES!!! \s

Not to mention that that's how herd immunity happens, more people get exposed and develop immunities and the virus burns out.

The problem with herd immunity with the way you're describing is that people have to survive it. Vulnerable populations are more susceptible to dying. I will feel much better when/if a vaccine gets developed.

The virus does seem to be weakening. Most of the people dying now are holdouts from the initial March-May wave. More recently infected people don’t seem to be getting as sick.
