Everyone should call their elected officials (for example you should call to stop the Lawful Access to Encrypted Data Act) but afterwards, make sure to help build alternatives and figure out ways to keep online relevance. And also don't just participate online. Connect with your local neighborhood and hometown as well.

Trump won and minds were changed in 2016 because of being able to post everywhere in youtube comments and stuff. That's why they're trying to clamp down so hard on it now. You really think everyone is going to switch over? You think migrating "normie" subs like /r/gardening is a better strategy than trying to enact laws?
