Friendly reminder that Rand Paul said that Corona virus was fake and they were using it to take away your rights. Then he suddenly "came down with it" and sat in time out.

A senator saying this situation. is fake is a pretty big deal that didn't get hardly any coverage. But him catching got quite a lot.

Can you point me to a source for Rand saying COVID-19 "was fake"? I believe he expressed skepticism towards government overreach in response to COVID-19.

In any case, what does his response to COVID-19 have to do with his police reform bill?

And he was right. Thousands of Democrats marched en-masse, against the Covid restriction orders of their own Democrat governors, while those same governors threaten to jail anyone so much as going to church.

You literally don't have the right of speech or assembly or worship right now "because Covid", but only if you're a Republican. If you want to set someone's business on fire or chant "Tuck Frump" in a crowd of thousands, not social distancing or wearing masks, you'll get an applause from Democrats for being so brave and noble and virtuous.
