From the very beginning of this global lunacy I asked myself: where have all the smart people gone? The must be thousands of people in high up positions in small and large corporations who should have the balls and the brains and the speaking skills to rip the panic politicians, the one-eyed experts, and their tunnelvision to shreds. But everybody seemed to be falling in line. I still cant understand why all the smart people fell silent. Cowardice?

I think they're not quite as smart as they think they are. People make mistakes. Smart people get too into their theories and sometimes aren't correct.

Or they're self-interested and believe their primary duty is to take care of themselves, as is everyone's, so they have used their time to do that instead.

i'm smart. I've been calling out the BS at every stage.

early on, the misinformation from China was a little misleading, though. By late Feb. it was clear that it was a failed planned pandemic.
