It's just click bate. Click bate I have no interest in. Now what I do find interesting is the characters "共匪". Now why on earth did you post the Chinese characters for 'gangster' in your reply?

My translator says it means "communist bandit (i.e. PLA solider during the civil war)"

So he's referring to the CCP using hired agents or shills to influence public opinion, I believe

Youtube was deleting comments containing these characters a couple of weeks ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vvy4Cwmie3o

共匪

Strange both google and mdbg.net show it phonetically as "gòngfěi", but for some reason, google then translates that to 'gangster'. But if you break it up, both sites give you 'total bandit.'

Each character individually translate to "common" (as in communism) and then "bandit". It's a disparaging term for mainland Chinese soldiers (and shills) as far as I can tell

It's click bait.

Saying Canada is racist is just what all the leadership and media in Canada are saying. How is that clickbait?

[–]sproketboy[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I'm just being a grammar nazi since u/Questionable spelled it click "bate".

I make this mistake often. That being said, after looking up both words, I now know that bated breath does not mean what I thought it did.

Did you click on the leading question to watch to find out more? Alright, now you've learned some inflammatory 'facts' setting off and endorphin cycle in your mind, and someone else is getting paid add revenue for you clicking on the baited titled. I'm sorry, I'm making some rough guesses here, because I don't watch trash with click bait titles.
