maybe it makes so people can't use thier work insurance or obamacare to pay for it

This is what I was hoping it would mean. Yes, people should be able to do with their body whatever they want (though I would really dicourage anyone from hacking their genitals off), but that doesn't mean they should be able to take money out of the public purse to fund their degeneracy.

I completely agree except I don't believe a doctor providing the service even privately funded is the correct treatment for these people. And if it is not the correct treatment then it is also against the ethics and oath of a doctor. To me it is clearly a mental disorder to desire your body to be so radically changed, similar to anorexia and in fact also breast implants, among many others.

I support everyone to live how they want to live, but when you have a treatment with a 50% suicide rate, that's not effective treatment.
