Good post. And then in a few decades, they switch sides, so that the Republicans get the easy economy and the Democrats get the shit economy.

They convince everyone who is the good cop, and who is the bad cop. But then when everyone's trust is leaning one direction, they switch them, and then they can pass all sorts of crazy laws. Repeat forever. Public caught up in the switching like a washing machine, they can't figure out who is in charge and are ideologically captured in the left-right paradigm

Yup, change is happening. They're having a hard time controlling the message on the internet, despite them trying their best. Some fall for it, but more and more are seeing through the tricks. It's an exciting time.
