THIS IS THE BIGGEST RED FLAG EVER. The same people who considered it criminal to have a barbecue or go on a trip to the park with your family are now cheering this on. Something is wrong and best case scenario: it is extreme cognitive dissonance

It's simple Otherizing. When The Other does it, it's wrong. When we do the same thing, it's OK.

No cognitive dissonance. You can point out the double standard all day long and it won't cause a bit of trouble. They know they're right and you're wrong and that's all that matters.
