This may eventually become the new Stasi.

Yeah, I contacted them for an application just to play it safe.

You know, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. If I come to your home, it honestly is nothing personal. And it's for you and your family's own good!

was that a cough I heard ?

That's it, I heard a sneeze, you're going on the list buddy.

All i can say is, execute order 66... I meant execute order 6666..

How much does it pay? I mean we have to infiltrate and destroy from within. These people are clearly deluded.

Beyond pay, you might even get your own write up in a prestigious NY newspaper.

We look forward to you representing saidit there, do us proud!!!!

I was being more than a little facetious there. I don't envy Sgt. Mitsotakis keeping people apart in Central Park, particularly after midnight. The whole contact tracing thing is useless in my opinion and a move to NY, even Buffalo would be a shock to my system. But thanks for the encouragement

[–]jamesK_3rd 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I think we're all being a bit facetious. If you can't laugh or make jokes about this, it would be really depressing.

I mean think about it: - The new heroes are people employed to ensure folks are social distancing or ensuring govt compliance - we have a congressional resolution that is Eerily similar to an order from a terrible tragedy from a movie. - we have the govt passing trillion dollar resolutions that give money to all kings of special interest groups. It's crazy.

lmao!!!! d00d looks like God created him for this very job!!

And funnily enough, no pay is mentioned at all on the e-mail; you have to make contact for more information. I'm assuming it's not much since they seem to milking you throughout the e-mail, making it seem like you'll be a hero.

[–]jamesK_3rd 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Well the federal govt contact tracers will make between 22 and 25 USD per hour. I'd imagine my will start there at least.

I'd think of you're getting to execute order 6666, it isn't about the money, it's about the rewarding work and changing lives. Lulz

Just talking about it makes one sound like a conspiracy theorist - "H.R. 6666"

Sounds like a census taker job, only with more risks?

Do you think anything can be passed in a test?

You should do it, and let us know what the hell their doing. Just don't inject anything?

It's more like the virus police - they're able to strip you of more rights than a police officer could and get away with it (legally too, via a culmination of passed acts/bills by the Supreme Court & POTUS for Pandemic measures, including measures in H.R. 6666), and if someone sends in a tip on you or your family (even if you're not sick and there's nothing wrong), or you've been tested for Covid-19 in the past (which many Americans were in the first month tests were made available due to panic), you're automatically on TRACE's list.

If TRACE officers/supervisors come to visit you, you must let them in, and their examination is very much subjective - if they hear a few coughs or sneezes, they're allowed to take you or your child away to a hospital or recovery/examination center/camp without your permission (who's to say an asshole doesn't lie and says they heard a cough and enters it in on your family's record, taking away a member and putting you on their list as a confirmed case?). I believe it's considered a terrorist act to resist their process.

Edit: Notice how in the OP, part of our job descriptions across positions is to "ensure compliance and enforce quarantine measures". That's a kinda broad description for a job that potentially violates rights protected by the Bill of Rights and is a position created by the Government, being offered by the local state government.

[–]fred_red_beans 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yea, I don't think I'd want that job, and I don't know that I (and likely others where I live) would consent to TRACE officers entering my home, whether that be considered a terrorist act or not.

This whole thing is crazy. It's sad to watch people go along with this authoritarian crap playing on their fears without thinking critically about it. It's called anti-scientism to cite any data that contradicts the narrative - which in of itself is not science at all. Although, I would say there's a larger base of people now who are aware of manipulation, or are at least skeptical compared to 9/11/2001. On 9/11 everyone hung their American flag and then focused their attention to whomever they were told was the enemy (Bin Laden). That was the beginning of the war on terror. Since then, more people have started to question and do their own research. But now, this plandemic is a much larger scenario. It looks to me that really we have entered WWIII, only it's not being fought between countries having their people kill each other and cause chaos, it's just being brought directly against the world population.

-create virus and release or wait for natural virus to reach a point(doesnt matter which, we can and will never know)

-be incompetent about international quarantine, education,

-then overreact in a way that divides everyone

-institute totalitarian measures

-make sure your enemies are included in the ones who die, one way or the other

This is what it looks like when a cult tries to take over your country.

Hiring students who don’t even know the world yet. Indebted and desperate for any work. Hopefully those students research what they are asked to do. Evil will fall.

Do you know who else received this email? Perhaps you could link them to the Dr. Erickson Briefing video.

It's only Departments relating to health and the sciences at my school (just found out 2day, the 14th). Idk if your grades matter. My school doesn't have a real medical program (The school's focus ironically is business & foreign exchange lmao. We have the biggest foreign exchange (and most respected one) in the State, and I think country as well, so that pretty much gives my Uni away. Twice a semester we have massive influx of foreign exchange students from Asia, The Middle East and South America), but all the State Universities in my state with medical programs are allowing seniors to rather graduate up to a year early (senior year is by far the hardest lol, especially if you're in a medical/science/math/chemics related field), if they go straight into the hospitals to fight Covid-19.

I'm in the Neuropsychology Dept and a senior, I have a good GPA and have been on the dean's list multiple times and received this e-mail; so I don't know if grades matter or not in receiving this e-mail, you can't see who else got the e-mail, it's formatted to look like a personal e-mail sent and written directly for you.
