So, how do I get from the top to the bottom of a building if everything is owned by one person and he doesn't allow me to get down?

Ancapism is the elites wetdream.

I don't know what you're talking about. Is this what you imagine will happen if people are allowed to interact on a voluntary basis? People locked on top of buildings because reasons?

Voluntarism is far different than ancapism.

Voluntarism means all human interactions must be voluntary. Anarchism means there is no ruler, i.e. nobody who can force his will upon you (except in self-defense). And capitalism means respect for one's property (aka capital), which includes the body - rendering aggression (and thereby coercion) invalid. So, how are those not exactly the same? Anarcho-Capitalism and Voluntarism are just what happens if you let people be free. How such a system will look like, I can't definitively say, but it doesn't matter how you call it.

There's also Anarcho-Marxism, also far different.

What do you think of John Mark and Poerertarianism?

And what do you think of minarchism? (Longer question version: /s/politics/comments/3ns7/which_one_are_you/daut)

As long as you're willing to let others be free, in my opinion, anything goes. I think it would be a terrible idea, but if someone wants to have his Anarcho-Marxist commune, that's totally fine as long as I can still live my capitalism. That being said, I don't think that's ever going to happen, because the consensus seems to be that marxism can only be achieved if everyone is forced to participate. And that is not compatible with anarchism whatsoever.

I don't know who John Mark is, and I don't want to get into it right now, but again, anything goes as long as you let others be free.

Minarchism is a great gateway drug for freedom. Or, to use a more positive metaphor: It is like a nicotine patch for people who want to quit the drug of politicial power but can't get there quite yet. I would much rather live in a minarchist society than what we have now, and I see minarchists as my allies in the fight for a more free world. I am very much for practical solutions, for making the world better here and now. If all we can achieve at the moment is a mostly free society, I'm all on board with that.
