Anarchists can make tanks. They also outnumber most armies if the entire population mobilizes. Look at what the french did against the semi-unified monarchies of Europe, who attacked on multiple fronts.

Objectively, the french are the first truly self-liberated western democracy. The surrounding monarchy's tried to invade and destroy them.

The french democratic evolution should be much more closely most studied from an anarchistic perspective; given anarchy didn't exist at the time as a unique political philosophy.

I admit that i'm not terribly familiar with it myself. The probability/certainty of historical revisionism cannot possibly be overstated in this context.
