One of my problems with those statistics is that they don't discriminate between lawful shootings, negligence, and crime. For example, they state that there was 74,000 non-fatal injuries. But they don't bring up how many of the injuries were caused by lawful self-defense. How much of that was crime, how much of that was defense against crime? Yes, there is a small bit about self-defense in there, but it's not lined up with the overall stats.

Which makes Biden's statement even more ridiculous.
